Wheat vs chaff? Sorting machines makes it an easy distinction. Humans, not so easy. You'd be hard pressed to find either wheat or chaff in them, aside from in the bowels.

I've spent some time contemplating how to choose friends and reconnect once you realize you made a bad decision. It always comes back to who I'd like to hear talking. People that surprise you. Challenges, agreements, no worries. Slow responses can be great replies, but the inverse is much more likely to be true. But it's a challenge, finding friends or strangers you enjoy talking to.

At some point, some asshat decided debate should be something you could teach. Pirate bay has a constantly highly posted "how to" in the debate literature genre. People want Coaching in how to get their way, but not in how to communicate.

People don't like to be wrong, it means you are less worthy.

Id rather be less worthy, less influential.

I guess this is the part where I try to explain why I don't feel a need to fight societal asshats. Nope. They don't affect my day to day life. I have no need or desire to engage them.

Unless they hate dogs :P I'll fucking destroy any dog haters!

But not really.

Language, words, silly hidden meanings, demeaning others can make you feel smart, powerfull. But don't set aside friends because they won't feed your ego, do it for your own health.

shit, edit

What would the Sentiment Analyzer say about this comment, waiting for Stanford to reply: Yeah, not much.

Nice edit. I was kind of wondering whether or not I should interpret your comment in one lens or another. I doubt "asshat" is in their database (being based on film reviews). Please message me about #linguistics anytime, but I have to admit, I muted and hushed you because this comment I did not understand fully.

Welcome to Hubski, and, of course, keep well! :)
