If they have a legitimate point to be made, give it it's day in open (internet) court.

You should've seen the shit that went down in /r/atheism. Spawned like 3 or 4 new subreddits for atheism. I imagine that if this keeps going the same way, there'll be new subreddits that pop up. that or everyone will move over to hubski :P

I think we're alright. Each time there is an influx (and this was a relatively small one) the prediction is that the floodgates will open. This never materializes. People often do not realize that we've been at this for nearly 3 years now. That said, if the floodgates did open my feed would still have you and the others I follow in it. I take comfort in that.

I think a big part is that hubski is a drastically different site than Reddit. And many people that use reddit aren't looking for something like hubski. And that's part of the reason reddit has gone to shit lately.

I'm pretty sure hubski will be okay.
