I could see this ending up as a cattle prod for production. If you're sales number are up the sky's get bluer. Having a rough quarter, it might get cloudy. Or it could end up individualized, if your specific numbers are up, the square of the ceiling above your cubicle will be blue skies, if you are down it will be grey.
I've worked for organizations that would actually use it this way.

Nice. Employees could wear an RFID tag and their weather would follow them. You could truly have a cartoon experience where a single dark cloud in the sky only follows you around the office. Seriously though, I noticed a slight blue tinge on the cubicle wall when the ceiling was bluer, but the sky doesn't really work like that.
