The Palestinian Boycott Experience. Randomizer, in Thursday's Souciant.
DON’T BUY PRODUCTS FROM COMPANIES WHICH DO MOST OF THEIR BUSINESS WITH ISRAEL:
-How is this defined? Are they sourcing their raw materials from Israel or are they selling products to Israel? For example, Pepsi-Cola. Is it all of Pepsi that people should boycott? They own many products and restaurant chains. How well thought out is this? Is the idea to have a serious impact, because I'm not sure it will. If the idea is symbolic, then sure. Otherwise, you might do better to find the most significant of the group and focus a concerted effort on that business or brand. If your call to arms is spread out over many products it's likely to not be as high impact as it could be. -Just some unsolicited advice.
