It's a great idea. I think it would be even more interesting with a style of music that incorporates lyric.
Very intriguing idea, but that would raise the technical bar substantially! (It's also gets a bit metaphysical [1] :) The space of 'notes' is numeric. The space of 'lyrics' is semantic. The former is an ordered set. The latter is a graph. The former has intrinsic mappings/relations that are mathematical. The latter's is a bit more subjective and there are multiple ways for one to order the graph nodes. And the mapping/relations are grammatical.

I second the idea of lyrics. The lyrics themselves could be as cryptic or straight forward as the image might suggest. The lyrics could reinforce the metaphysical
