This is silly. If people don't like Facebook's privacy settings, then they shouldn't use Facebook. There are plenty of wonderful alternatives out there, so I don't see the point in trying to strongarm this one company into becoming something that it is clearly unwilling to be. I say fuck 'em and move on.

It seems like everyone's taking turns telling Facebook to improve its privacy. I know canada's privacy commissioner has investigated Facebook several times over the last few years. I wonder how many concrete changes have come out of these investigations as opposed to "best practice" changes.
