Statistics use in bio research is just awful. This needs to be addressed at the university level.

I'm no expert, but coming from physics into biology was a bit jarring when it came to the math.

Statistics isn't easy stuff, and it can even be counter-intuitive, but it is the very foundation of any experiment.
