For some strange reason, I've had a crazy amount of followers on hubski since I joined just 12 days ago. This is strange to me mostly because I've not typically been seen as interesting in real life and online. If you were to find all of my various online accounts, you'd have a hard time finding one where I have any kind of reputation or following of any kind.
Why do you follow me (if you do), and what do you like to see in your feed? I typically don't give much of a shit what other people think about me, especially online. So it's weird for me to have over 50 people that will see whatever I post whenever they look at their feed. I'm almost tired of all of the really specific natured content on hubski lately, where everything is an article talking about a particular topic. Sure, it could be interesting, but then hubski isn't really useful any more. It's just a link aggregator. What I'm really interested in are the more general discussions, where everyone can understand without a phd, and still contribute to an interesting discussion thoughtfully. I'm not talking about the askhubski / askreddit type content where its all about stories and life experiences though. More like "What do you think about topic?" and "Something interesting to consider about topic". I often feel a lack of good topics, so I rarely post such content. But I would love to start.
Any ways, 50 people individually thought I did something well enough to click follow, cool. What do I do now? I'd like to keep doing this thing for a while so might as well get this stuff out of the way early on.
I've rambled enough. Thoughts?
