I think you really better read this very slowly and carefully. It's by Max Tegmark, you know, that idiot who's brainless and clueless even though he somehow is a professor of physics at MIT, and for many years has been a key advocate of careful planning at AI and AGI.
He lists 10 things that everyone should be thinking about AI, and thinks (as I do) that right now is the greatest moment in all of history due to military AI and the hellbent arms race to destruction. I really think it's time to do a total reset, and recognize that this, above all, has to be dealt with right NOW with a new world order, planetary arrangement, a one world country, with the UN leading the charge. I know it's a long shot, but I think it's time for a global change -- a literal reset button that points us toward the AI future in a bright way rather than the dystopian, evil way that our pitiful nation-states are leading us to inevitably now; a military AI arms race that will ineluctably lead us to utter destruction as a species.
