The donate button isn't....
1. ...at the top of the page anymore
2. ...unsecure
3. ...tracked by us. Meaning, unless you tell me, I will not know if you do or do not donate.
4. ...something that we think even the most prolific users need to feel obligated to utilize
5. ...there to make you feel a sense of obligation
6. ...all that important in the grand scheme of things
7. ....nearly as important as you making a post, commenting or sharing someone else's post/comment
The donate button is...
1. ...located at the bottom of the page
2. ...really easy to use
3. ....a way for people to support the costs associated with running Hubski
4. ....a way for people to support us having new offerings such as t-shirts and other fun hubski specific swag.
5. ....in no way an obligation. I would take a Hubski user that makes great posts and comments over one that donates hundreds of dollars ANY DAY.
6. .... a nice way for lurkers to contribute.
7. ....likely to change over time.
8. ....likely to fund a Hubski meetup someday, in the future
9. ...secure
Bonus question for the newbies (must be a Hubski user less than 100 days old)
Q: What was the name of the snail that we (the Hubski team) sent to space?
