Be it a blog devoted to food, your favorite site/e-mail newsletter/physical book for recipes, sites and books with different cooking techniques, items in your kitchen that you love to use, or anything else. I want to know where you all come up with the stuff you cook, and what you favorite tips, tricks, and advice is for that. After seeing all these #grubski posts there is a lot of proof to show that there is not a shortage of great cooks here.
For me I do like watching YouTube videos of people like Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, or Gordon Ramsey to get ideas for better preparation techniques. However, I don't have much in the way of recipes outside of using an Epicurious cookbook I have, an assorted collection of family recipes, and using places such as allrecipes. The latter is great for ideas of things to make, but I don't feel like there are many truly great dishes on there. As for everything else, I don't have many special tools but I would love a pizza stone and garlic press among other things.
How about all of you?
