The updates that followed later make your title look a bit sensationalized at this point (not your fault). I can't believe that this woman never filed for divorce previously, even before the shooting. I'm inclined to blame the entire family for being nuts.

I also remember reading a comment on reddit about six months ago or so purporting to be from a member of Zimmerman's extended family where he stated that Zimmerman's mental health deteriorated quite a bit after the shooting and the trial events and so on. I wonder.
