Well, dang. My hope was that Congress would see this as another way to make the President look like a moron and block it just for the sake of it, having the lucky side effect of not getting into another war, but I guess I was wrong.

Oh right, I forgot. War is good for the economy. And we have all those troops who just got back doing nothing but sitting around, so I guess we had to do something with 'em, right?
