I decided to give up on ebooks. The Kindle was ok, but I want to own my books. I also don't want my books tethered to a device that I will replace, or have to deal with incompatibility issues and future transfers. ebooks are over-priced as well; the reduction in costs does not reflect the removal of printing and a physical distribution network. I also don't want my reading list sold, and probably stored by the NSA.
