A woman in central China’s Hunan Province slid into madness after being forced into labor, at seven months of pregnancy, so that her baby could be killed. Her husband, Wu Yongyuan, has been seeking redress and compensation, to little effect.
What a horrible story. I'd like to clean my mind of some of those images. So is the reasoning behind performing these abortions population control? It would seem to me that the best way to handle population control would be sterilization after someone has their first kid. -Not saying this wouldn't be a gross injustice, but it would be much less so than throwing a woman's baby in a plastic bag while it's still alive. Horrible.
