I don't know. Apple's weather app (animations included) looks nothing even remotely like his, and there are a ton of weather apps that have had animations for a long time now.

And the screenshots he links to? They sort of do have a "my first submission" into the app store kind of vibe to me. That's just me though.

Nothing he claims is new in his app is new, and it's not even kinda new.

Now if Yahoo! had written this post I could totally get behind it. Apple's new weather app is crazy similar to theirs. Their design team must be either flattered or pissed or both right about now.
