I get this sort of thing sometimes because I'm browner than most.
Side note regarding racism: I was in a meeting yesterday and someone was trying to describe the seasonality of the beach town I am in. They said, "this time of year we get the biker crowd, which is fine. Next week though the black bikers come and well, you can imagine." I just paused and said, "no, not really."
It amazes me when people just assume that you will be racist too. Anyways, I thought this video was pretty funny.
Sometimes when I see something ridiculous in public, I like to stage-whisper, "white people . . ." while ruefully shaking my head or rolling my eyes. I like doing it especially if it's not a white person causing the commotion.
