This was an interesting read. While this is not a new phenomenon, and occurs in almost every society, I do think it's likely that China is seeing it at a far advanced rate. How could this not be given the amount of growth they've had in such a short span? Even in highly technological western civilizations we can hardly keep up with the advances in technology and society. Imagine what it must be like for a country like China? A very interesting read. I wonder mk, you've spent some time there and surely gq can attest to whether this is or isn't more of an issue there than it is in the US. What do you think? Is there a more pronounced generational gap in China?
