Losing one of your heroes is a surreal feeling.

Stan Musial is one of the ten greatest baseball players of all time. He has been the face of the Cardinals' franchise since World War II. He never made a misstep, he was never controversial in any way. Teammates and rivals alike called him "The Man." Thousands of Cardinals fans have grown up batting like Stan, playing like him, acting with class because of him. He passed away this afternoon.

Baseball will never see another player quite like Stan Musial.
