Videos like this remind me how exciting these times are. A year now brings a decades worth of changes and innovations, and this isn't limited to technology. I'm big into music, and there are so many new waves and artists booming and dying down in a matter of months these days. I attribute this and similar cultural effects to the Internet allowing for everything to be visible. 50 years ago a local, unsigned band could only be heard by physically seeing them. Now, people from anywhere in the world can watch their videos on youtube, buy their album on bandcamp and keep up with everything they do via facebook, twitter and soundcloud. And what's more is that this can happen years after they've stopped making anything and no longer update.
