Not like it really makes a huge difference to apple though. They are a multi-billion dollar company, a few hundred thousand here and there for them would be comparable to a $10 dollar parking violation to the general population. Sure its a minor annoyance but not going to make a big difference in the long run.

What would be interesting to see is if/ how they plan on not making this a normal occurrence. Is stricter penalties the way to go? Or is it continue on the path they have established and give apple a fine every time this happens, and, if it will deter apple in any way.
