I've watched Deadwood more than any other TV show - at least once a year. My excitement has been growing steadily since W. Earl Brown started tweeting about reading the movie script and attending meetings and arrival on the set and I can't contain it any more.

Thank god for the unimaginative hacks that keep re-booting old shows that helped pave the way to resolve a collective craving for closure for fans like me. You can argue that The Wire or Sopranos were better but Deadwood is hands down my favourite and for me, the most enjoyable.
