Another piece of the puzzle on mind/body interaction, discussed. Though this article doesn't enumerate the benefits meditation/prayer/breathing exercises can have upon internal sensation and knowledge of the body, it does mention the subject briefly. And as more and more emerges on the benefit of these practices (and others, such as biofeedback) upon the body/minds ability to listen to and regulate itself, it's very helpful to hear more about the breadth of what benefits can emerge from such attuned states -- including a far more concrete and supported understanding of insights previously dismissed solely as "gut" or "intuitive" leaps.
