Personally this hasn't happened to me yet. I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this type of fraud.
If Uber wasn't a shit company this probably wouldn't be an issue. I was a driver and kinda still am. It's harder than pulling teeth to get anything from their customer service support channels. Yeah. I'm not surprised drivers who've had to deal with Uber support found this loophole
Actually I had a passenger try to pull some shit like this on me and my car was effectively deactivated for months
