I started this one in San Francisco a few months ago. It's the second painting that I've done without a reference. It's not an actual place.

I might be more satisfied with this one in entirety than any of my previous. I am starting to learn a few tricks, and also finding it easier to get into the groove. That said, I am sure that just as with writing, it's something that can come and go despite an overall trend of improvement.

I almost lost this painting. I jammed it in some shitty luggage on the way from SFO to DTW, and the luggage exploded en route. It came down the conveyor spilling everywhere. I could feel the pity around me. I did lose the paints that were with it.
