My wife and I are rebuilding ours. It'll be a project that won't be finished for more than a year. Currently, we have a loose leaf piece of paper with a pencil drawing, and at night we are collecting photos of stuff that we like. Our good friend's local firm is doing it. We aren't going much bigger, just different.

I've always wanted to have a role in the design my own home, and I feel very fortunate that we are going to be able to do this when my daughter is young enough that we can make lots of memories in it.
