I'm not one for lists because my memory is so poor, but I reckon if I made a list of my all time favourite movies, Harry Dean Stanton would probably be in more than any other actor. Cool Hand Luke, Repo Man, Alien, Paris, Texas, Wild At Heart.

I'm not very sentimental either, but when you grow up with people in the public eye, you can't help but feel they're a part of your own life. And you can't help but feel some emotions when the good ones leave.

So here's to another punch in the gut. Tomorrow I'm going to watch Paris Texas and Repo Man and wallow in some reminiscence.
