I want you to read the third chapter of Max Tegmark's excellent book (a few paragraphs into the article), just out a few days ago. I suggest you read it a couple of times, and be very cautious and worried about the military AI arms race, which is bound to go badly and very destructively. It only takes one human error in narrow AI, whether in the US or anywhere around the world, for it to be catastrophic beyond words.
