Interesting viewpoint. One I'll be sharing with my 6th grade math class that has many struggling to understand operations with fractions, particularly, multiplying and dividing. I have a few "Uncle Joey's" that are presented with direction, practice, assistance, and repeated chances to improve their understanding, yet still chose the path of least resistance, and least understanding. :)
