I love reading these sorts of stories, but it also gets my blood pressure up. It can be difficult to resist feeling envious of such wealthy people - until it turns out some got rich through fraud, scams, and legal contempt.
We still live in barbaric, even feudal times, in some ways. Everything is just more shiny and clean since the Middle ages.
