There are reports of auroras as far south as the Ohio River. People in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Montana, Washington should be able to get at least a glimpse of an aurora show tonight, albeit washed out by the very bright moon.
I was not able to see anything, but they would be very low on my horizon and I have the Ohio River Valley smudge to deal with. People out in the sticks at higher elevations in Kentucky and Ohio are posting images of Auroras!
Wow. I was asleep. Looks like no reports on r/madison. Probably would've needed to be outside the city, although the one time I saw the Aurora was in the center of Reykjavik.
