My family had one of my childhood cats put to sleep very suddenly yesterday. she and her sister were diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which masked massive renal failure. as far as i know the other one is fine for now but this one crashed in 24 hours.

she loved shoes more than people, didn't have a scrap of dignity, had a real penchant for spewing from both ends, and did a fantastic job of ballooning up to be as round as her namesake pearl. she was a 10th birthday present and made it to 15. i know Satan is either very happy to see her or dreading her slobber on his loafers.
