Talk about a feel good story. Recently, when 96-year-old Dr. Henry Heimlich used the maneuver he invented back in 1974 to save an 87-year-old woman from choking on a piece of meat, it garnered worldwide attention.
I worked with a lady who had performed the Heimlich maneuver three times on the job (waiting tables). The doctor made her a small hero when he developed his technique.
