Hey guys,

I would like to pitch my new (and actually my first ever made) App “RiskAhead – Crime Map” for Android.

Me and a friend of mine came the idea of designing a risk and crime assessment app which gives people a tool to avoid crime and violence by reporting incidents into a map via a dialog-based question & answer system. It is free (using ads), it works world-wide and you can download it here:

Android PlayStore URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.deke.risk.riskahead

Main features of RiskAhead:

Crime Map with crime heat-hotspots

6 different icons - dependent on the category of the reported incident

Special flags for crimes against women and crimes which will happen in the future

Automatic notifications about reported incidents in the area of the user

Community-based voting system to reduce fake-entries

Translated into 15 languages (e.g. English, German, French, Arabic, Russian etc.)

I would be very thankful if you could spend some minutes to try this app and to discuss the app and the idea behind it with me.

1. Do you think this app could be useful or do you dislike the idea?

2. Is there something you really like or dislike about my app?

3. Which functions should be implemented to make it more valueable and more useful? (or do you think something should be removed?)

4. Open for any other comments
