Hair on the Side

Why does grandpa only have hair on the side?

How did all of his other hair die?

Did he narrowly duck a dragons breath?

Did a lawnmower go haywire up the back of his neck?

Did he shave it on purpose?

Is it all part of a plan?

Is it there as a runway where small planes can land?

Is it a beacon bringing ships safely to shore?

Can his bald spot suffice as a fairies dance floor?

Did they use his long hair to build a mighty rope

Did it tie up giants and other bad folk?

So I asked my grandpa, "I want to know, where did all of your top hair go?"

"The dragon, the rope, a lawnmower astray?"

"Yes, yes and yes" is all he would say
