What do you think of it?

If you haven't seen it, I do recommend it - it's similar to the Serial podcast that was out a while ago. I wonder if these independent reports on real life crime will be the new trend.

I watched the first two episodes. It struck me as sort of a JV Jinx. I'm sure there's all sorts of unfairness and skullduggery going on, but when you're doing a long documentary about a miscarriage of justice, you need to fill up with more than "this guy got railroaded." I stopped watching because there wasn't a lot of context, because there wasn't a lot of effort to portray the complex environment that would lead to a conspiracy like the one they're presenting.

Having seen this pop up on Facebook a lot, I think that's the argument a lot of people have against the series without being able to articulate it - you get the sense that things are being simplified and papered over without any attempts to examine the complexities that would lead to the events portrayed.
