Lately I've been thinking a lot about the japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi (侘寂). I feel very attracted to its concept. But what is wabi-sabi? What is your point of view on this matter?
Wabi-Sabi represents a comprehensive Japanese world view or aesthetic centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete". I wasn't familiar with Wabi-Sabi prior to this post. Above is a link to the wikipedia page. TIL.
