ok... it wasn't this week - but I missed this post a few weeks ago when I sat down and crushed Animal Farm in a morning. Somehow I managed to dodge reading it (and many others) in my school years. Now that my kids are supposed to read it for school, I snagged one of their copies and read it.

I'm super glad I read it, and would recommend it.

And being a relatively slow reader, it felt REALLY good to kill the thing in one setting. I can count on two fingers the number of books I've done that with.
