I know most of us will say, "I'd never fall for that", but I bet that this attorney would have said the same thing. After someone puts in the effort to know your problems, empathize, call you many times over a long period of time... they start to gain your trust. Eventually, you want to believe them simply so as not to seem cynical or you want to believe them because (like this guy) you just want a friend. So sad. So predatory.The weak will always be a target for the evangelists of the world.
