Ugh. This is painfully real for me. My sons asthma medicine last year was over a grand. Yah. Those rescue inhalers that used to be $7 for a generic? Now $80+ because the drug companies voluntarily agreed to some CFC removal clause (which they were initially exempted from). That way, they take the EXACT SAME MEDICINE and change the propellant - and laugh as thousands of Americans have to shell out 10x the dollars for the same thing.

Imagine if tomorrow, every ibuprofen, tylenol and aspirin suddenly cost a few bucks per pill.

That happened in 2007. Surely you'd think a generic would be out by 2015, right?!? Nope.

Oh well. Healthcare is jacked. I love my kid so I keep shelling it out. But damn...
