I keep coming back to this game for the art. I love the work of Eyvind Earle but it's so difficult to find anything of his in a high resolution online. The folks who worked on the background for Banner Saga obviously took some pages from his book and managed to produce the same feelings of the vastness of nature.
If only the story matched the level of art: it felt like the there was a promise of more in the mythos that was never delivered, instead it all aprubtly ends with the defeat of bellower. Maybe I'm misrembering cause it's been awhile, but I thought there were hints of the bad guys running away from something else? And felt like there should be more with the magic and the giant snake or whatever?
