It's kind of weird that the NYTimes registered a .ms (Motserrat) domain in order to slightly truncate the length (but bastardize the spelling) of their hyperlink. You can check the nyti.ms history on Hubski beneath galen's username on this post, there are several instances of this.

I know that YouTube did it first with the youtu.be address, but at least they didn't leave out the most commonly used vowel in the English alphabet.

But anyway. At least policy is chipping away at the NSA iceberg... the pendulum's starting to swing back. Maybe.
