BTC Piñata is a MirageOS unikernel. It is written in OCaml, runs directly on Xen, and is using native OCaml TLS and X.509 implementations.
Fucking nerds.
I always wish I had more time for these kind of things; cryptography seems like a field awash with potential. And I wish we had more stable alternative OSe - one day I'll be able to run Haiku on my laptop without the wifi locking everything up
