2 You've lost Someone
M No.
2 Then who is this Someone you miss?
M Yes. Who is this Someone I miss?
[2 WALKS AWAY]
It's terrible having Questions. Questions
can be relentless.
[2 TURNS TO FACE M]
2 Is there an Answer you seek?
M Yes.
2 What is it?
M It's a beautiful day ...
[STARTS TO WALK AWAY]
2 Yes. Yes it is.
M [STOPS]
Do you remember,
Any day like today?
I do.
I was younger in another place.
2 What were you doing?
M I was being sad missing Someone.
2 Who?
M A girl.
2 [LOOKS TO FACE M AGAIN]
So you have lost Someone!
M Who hasn't?
2 Someone must have the Answer to that Question.
M Who?
2 Someone who sees All.
M When?
2 All Day.
M All Day?
2 All Night.
M Is there such a Person?
2 I don't know.
M The Sun must know:
He moves about above and beyond;
All above, all around.
Surely the Sun must know;
I shall ask the Sun.
Sun What is it you want
To Know?
M Your Light burns my eyes.
Sun Then look away fool.
What is it
You Seek?
M An Answer.
Sun Man can be called by many names,
And a Name can call many men;
But the Two
Can go hand-in-hand.
What is your Question?
M Do you know of
Anyone who sees All,
All Day,
All Night?
Sun I am not 'round All Night.
M Then all Day?
Sun I've seen All.

All that I have seen,
All that I must.
M You answer in riddles.
Sun [MOVING AWAY]
My Light casts Shadows.
NIGHT FALLS.
THE blue LIGHT OF THE MOON
'luminates M & 2
M Why do I have this longing?
I feel
A knot in my stomach.
Someone pulls the rope.
Where does it lead?
[1 WALKS IN]
1 Two bodies attract.
One in the Center.
2 One a 'Round.
1 Round and Round.
M Where does it lead?
2 I seek the comfort of company.
M I have Questions.

M Circles!
[TURNS AROUND]
I feel a knot in my stomach;
Someone hurls me around in circles.
2 At the end of the rope is the Answer.
M Who else feels this way?
Moon I have gazed
- many Nights ! -
On Her.
She shimmers like a Jewel
in the Velvet of the Void
A Sapphire
tempting me every Night.
[SIGHS..]
She is an Angel in the Sky.
I feel a knot in my stomach,
Pulling me towards Her.
I go round and around,
Every Night.
M You feel entranced.
Moon I feel enchanted.
M I have seen you many Nights.
Moon Every night. Every Night.
M What do you seek?
Moon I seek to seduce,
For I have been enchanted.
1 Your face...
Moon Changes.
I pull a Veil on my Face.
And endless dance of seductions;
I slowly uncover.
I peel away.
M Does She notice?
Does She move?
Moon Always there, whenever I gaze.
1 I always thought
That you were the Sorcerer.
I always thought
That you were the Answer.
2 The Earth moves in Her own way.
M You've seduced us, when you sought
To seduce Her.
1 She who is after the Sun.
2 He who is casting Shdaows.
Moon [KEEPS CHANGING HER FACE]

Questions, questions;
The Moon and the Sun.
There goes the gazer,
