Christmas in Japan is, well, just another day. Christmas Eve is a big date night, apparently, and Christmas Cake (Kurisumasu Keiki) is a thing- it's a delicious iteration of strawberry shortcake made with spongecake instead of shortcakes. The birthday candles are both amusing and confounding. Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
