Capitalism is coercive. It creates various fictionalized hierarchies for 'goods and services' that capitalism then manufactures the demand for with such lovelies as marketing executives and brand managers. Without the likes of those capitalists we would never know what to work so hard for!

Without those fine folks we might not have had The American Dream of being indebted to banks so that we can clean the bank's houses and mow the bank's yards and re-shingle the bank's roof on our day's off from our job so that we can pay the bank for use of their houses.

Thank god I have no time to protest!

Or maybe we'll rent and let some retiree or corporation be the middleman apartment-ed or rental-housed ... if you are lucky.

Capitalism requires the boot not only to be there for eternity ... but you must pay for the laces and the re-sole.
