This statistic, cross-referenced with how often they're sued for excessive force, seems like a good place to start when culling policemen across the country.
Some of you no doubt disagree, but I am steadfastly of the opinion that we need the police, in some form. Therefore, the best compromise is regulation and oversight. That's never going to be perfect, but it can certainly be better than it is now.

So this isn't a case of thousands of police, ten resisting cases.
A second criticism I have that isn't addressed is how many of those officers listed are non-arresting or non-active police officers.
I imagine a FBI agent who specializes in busting down doors is going to do a lot more resisting arrest than the average cop in a suburb.
