EDIT: A big thank you to kleinbl00 for his suggestion which I'll incorporate into my offering. Awesome! Hey all, tomorrow night my family is scheduled to bring over a dish to our friends because they have recently had a baby. They already have a four-year-old and have on laws staying with them. Therefore, it has to be enough food to feed about 5 to 6 people.

In my experience, people tend to bring over lasagnas etc -but that seems obvious. We are considering just grabbing some really nice take-out for them, but that seems so impersonal. Any suggestions? Recipes that are simple yet delicious are appreciated.

kleinbl00:

Corn and black bean salad. Done it twice now. Mad props each time. Goes with anything.

Our neighbors just had twins; their 2-year-old son is my daughter's playmate. And as my wife is going to Phoenix for the weekend I may have to do the fyur challenge with something I make for them. We'll see.
