There is something extremely interesting about any attempt to communicate with the future. I remember reading at the time about what symbolism they were going to use -- at that point I don't think the stuff about giant berms and spikes had materialized. I was skeptical of what they came up with.

I remembered thinking one thing you absolutely needed to plaster all over the enclosure was two-frame before/after pictures: before, humans and animals playing against a neutral background. After, same thing except everyone is obviously, totally dead. Mangled, if possible. There's next to no way to anticipate how to say "dangerous materials" in 10000 years. But dead fauna is pretty damn clear. Dead fauna says, "stop and think about what you're doing." And that's all we can really hope for; caution. Because any future society will be curious before any other emotion.
