FUN FACT: Randy Weaver was a dude who fell in love with a prepper and moved to Idaho. To cut loose and hang out, he visited the Aryan Nations every couple months for barbecues and picnics. He was then befriended by a dude at the picnic who, two weeks later, asked him for help sawing off the barrel of a shotgun. The dude flashed a badge, told Randy he had just committed an NFA felony, and gave him a choice between 15 years in prison or informing on the Aryan Nations. Randy Weaver told the guy to pound sand and chased him off his property.

Three dead bodies later, Randy and his three surviving daughters (his son and wife shot in the head by FBI snipers) received $3.1m. That was 22 years ago.
